Yup...EVERY time in these situations for him...EVERY time.

Again, we don't have a right handed pinch hitter, and if you PH for him, who is playing SS the last 3 innings?

Right handed pinch hitter please.

We don't have one.

That is the point I'm making. Not having one is silly. You have to have someone to swing a bat right handed off the bench in a big spot. Good ab by the kid though.

If you're going to go lefty/lefty with a pinch hitter 2 on and 2 out I think Yelich probably would have been the better call. What are you saving him for? Does one at bat really ruin his scheduled day of rest?

I get that, wasn't asking for him to be PH for, just for him to not swing at the first pitch every damn time in those situations.

Yelich isnt used to hitting with guys on base so you save him for a time with no one on base

I'm guessing if Arcia strikes out and it's still 2-2, Yelich is the guy with 2 outs. Just my hunch.

It was a productive at bat. No complaints from me.

I’d rather had Yelich with guys on instead of that. Are we saving Yelich for a bases empty plate appearance in the 9th?

I don't disagree really but that wasn't really the worst time for it. It was a "put it in play" AB.

Moose making up for his previous blunders.

I'm going to need to see more of Faria to determine whether giving up endless Jesus puns was worth it. Looked too much like a Guerra clone that inning for my tastes.

What happened to Cain?

Fouled a ball off his knee. He stayed in, and on his fly out to center he had an adventure to first that included stumbling and lots of hobbling.

So in other words, pretty much his normal look.
