Just saw the thread. I didn't see what happened to Yelich, but the optimistic in me is saying it's just a bad bruise and will be better soon. I was slammed knees with someone playing basketball and couldn't put weight on it for about 20 minutes. I was back playing later in the day.

Similar scenario happened to Ben Sheets, causing him to miss his first year of free agency, and keeping the Brewers from getting a 1st round compensation pick back. Crappy luck like that dooms teams who don't have a huge amount of resources.

Granted Yelich has been great lately, but really this team is playing well because of a bunch of no-names and role players. I expect that to continue.
