Still gotta win a game next week. Don't consider the Lions on the road to be a given despite the record.

If Stafford was playing I'd agree. This really should be a layup.

Love how the MNF crew is making excuses for the Vikings without Cook.

Like Aaron Rodgers ever had a legit RB while he was in his prime.

Fricken Booger was praying openly for a Vikings win.

Questions are a burden.   And answers a prison for one's self.

I don't really agree and I think Booger is generally awful. I thought tonight was one of his better/more impartial games.

Tonight’s call was fine. That doesn’t change the fact that he openly campaigned to invalidate the result of the GB/DET game on MNF.

If GB can get the #1 seed I don't see them losing....until they get creamed by Baltimore in the Super Bowl :)

Its nights like these that truly make me appreciate my affinity for living in chicago and now minneapolis areas over half my life...witnessing those fanbases lose their minds repeatedly is just too much fun!

Careful, I got poo-pooed off last weekend's in game thread for stating they will be in the nfc title game

Already reading and hearing stuff that the vikes must have held back because they might face gb again in the playoffs - didnt want to show too much...lol

Last time I checked a team looking to play close to the vest doesnt have their starting qb running for his life the entire game. They are just a different offensive team without Cook

Nah they didn't hold back. Cook being out definitely affected them, that's fair. But our defensive front was in Cousins' lap all night.

Anyone catch the little snippet on MNF about Favre going 2-0 against the Packers in 2009? Notice how they leave out the part where Aaron Rodgers beat Favre twice in 2010 en route to a Super Bowl?

Couple milestones next week (maybe). Aaron Jones needs just 14 yards runshing to crack 1000. Davonte Adams will need 96 yards receiving to crack 1000. Both are reachable, though I suspect if the game turns into a one-sided affair, we may not see a lot of Adams.

I don't think there's a story. I think he's just a bit salty his team got ran off the field in the second half and there chances of a home playoff game just got the doors blown off

The offense was good enough because the defense was just that good. The offense needs to certainly be better in the area of passing offense and ball control in the postseason.

Packers faced a very good defense and still put 23 up.

23 points offers no context. The defense consistently put them in good field position all night, as every scoring drive but one was 60 yards or less. In addition, the offense was essentially responsible for all 10 points allowed via turnovers. I did say they ran the ball very well most of the night. The ball protection and passing offense we saw in the first half is something they'll have to try to avoid in the playoffs.

I am not saying the offense was terrible but they continue to be very inconsistent. The real story of this game was the defense. Hopefully they can get it all clicking in January.

Not really worried about the turnovers. Not something they've done as a team a lot this season.

No, there's no reason to really be worried about the turnover part of it being more than a blip on the radar.

The lack of offensive consistency, especially in the passing game, has been an issue other than the 4 or so games this season that Davante Adams was out (not claiming correlation).

Winning the field position battle was huge yesterday in hiding that. It's big for this offense when they start 25 yards away from FG range and 60 yards from the endzone as opposed to starting deep in our own territory.
