2020-08-18: Brewers (Burnes) at Twins (Maeda) [Brewers lose, 4-3 in 12 innings -- Brewers spoil Maeda’s no hit bid in the 9th and rally for 3 runs, but fail to get a run across in extras]

Pineapple would be blocking all these throws in the dirt. He'd probably have a hit and have gotten Burnes to keep the run off the board as well.

Pina is just a much better catcher than Narvaez. Even if Narvaez gets it going offensively, I still think Pina is much more valuable.

I forgot how much I’ve missed having #HugWatch time of year. J.D. Martinez got pulled in the 5th inning of a game he had earlier hit an RBI double in. It’s most likely an injury, but the trade speculation has also begun.

Edit: He was spotted talking to the training staff, so alas the #HugWatch will have to wait another day.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

We were basically a league average offense with Yelich being the best hitter in baseball last season. Between him and Hiura struggling and the vast majority of the other guys just being bad hitters we are as bad as any offense in the game.

We should just get rid of Haines now and try to salvage the season.

What is a new coach going to do?

"Hey, all you guys with mediocre (at best) track records... go hit better..!"

Burnes looks about done, even the last K was a totally flat hanger. Short season and deep rosters why not let a fresh arm finish the inning???

A new voice can help and we can't downgrade from the clueless guy we have now.

I've always thought that blaming the hitting coach is kind of a empty scapegoat. These guys are professional athletes. People said the same thing about Darnell Coles before he was let go.

Burnes has hit the wall. Hopefully he doesn’t leave after a game clinching GS.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

If the hitting coach is a meaningless position save the money and don't have one because Haines adds nothing of value to this franchise.

Way to work out of it, Corbin.
