It was uncanny how there was a flurry of pitching signings, like dominoes falling. Position players picking up now. Once teams focus on where they are out of options for FA’s, they might start thinking about trade options.

Richards might still have good stuff, but in the last five years he's started 41 games and thrown 198 2/3 innings. 10 million is a lot of money for 8 starts and 40 innings (if history is any indication).

Sounding like CLE & Cesar Hernandez are close to a return. Cesar has left his winter league team to return to US & get final steps completed.

 

1 yr ($5M) plus club option pending physical. Sounds like he would be a bridge piece, covering 2B until Tyler Freeman (or another prospect) is ready to take over..
