Plan was always to play him at the beginning of camp, back off at the midpoint, then ramp things back up.

I’m afraid every time Hiura has to make anything other then a routine play.

Personally, I think Hiura needs time in the minors for offensive and defensive purposes. Not going to happen but my confidence in him is practically nil at this point.

Still no Cain. Not a lot of time to get him AB's to get ready for the season. Especially after missing last year.

Pretty sure they announced that Cain is playing his first game tomorrow, along with Devin Williams.

I'm less worried about Williams. He threw a lot last year and relievers really only need 3-4 outings to get ready.

 

Cain didnt play last year and I fear will need more AB's to get ready. Maybe the team isnt worried as he is a veteran. Who knows.
