I think burnes should attack the top of the zone a little more often with a four seamer to get guys off of his cutter.

Even if it's out of the zone

The amount of hittable pitches in the zone Keston has swung through this season is deflating. It sure doesn’t seem like something that’s on the verge of being corrected at this point.

Alright Robertson, Crew is finally on the board.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Hiura gets sent down after today, right... Please?

Thought for sure it was happening prior to this series but hopefully it will happen now.

The announcers really insult the viewers when they make comments to the effect that Hiura has had some good ABs and just needs to see a ball fall in. If he got a hit on every ball he hit hard his average would be closer to .150 than the .120 it’s at now.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Another awful inside pitch call against Adames. Smith should just try to locate all of his pitches in Bellino’s blind spot.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Need a hit here to get 2 runs in. Otherwise having Burnes standing in the 90 degree sunlight could be a negative.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

While they have been scoring a few more runs lately Brewers batting average is still dead last in the national League by a fair amount at .209

And the NL average has gone up to .235

Edit: .241 for non-pitchers

That should be it for Burnes. Another strong outing that is now in the hands of the bullpen.

If Hader isn't available, I think Burnes has to go back out. A combination of Milner/Boxberger/Suter/Williams to cover three innings isn't encouraging.

I know he had a bit of a slump prior to going back to Triple-A, but Tyrone Taylor looks like a major leaguer to me.

Taylor's crushing the ball after the recall (actually, since being optioned down). Not sure if he tried an adjustment, brief change of scenery, or just the natural ups and downs.

that had to feel good, Keston
