I played one season of HS basketball and averaged 1.5 ppg. My single game high was 7 points, and I did that by going 5 for 5 from the stripe, and I was a BAD shot. I don't ever remember airballing a free throw. I never had the pressure of an ECF on me though.

Dreadful, terrible, embarrassing execution, coaching, and effort in that half. They better do some serious soul searching at halftime. They have zero excuse to lose this game.

If that hasn't played like total dog crap in the first half and were in a position to win this and go up 3-1, they'd still at least have a shot at getting to the dance. Doubt they get there at 2-2 without Giannis.

No heart from this team. If any Bucks fans thought they were just going to be inspired by seeing their leader go down and start rallying, the team wanted to put that idea out of your mind quickly.

The announcers were optimistic, but right after is probably the best mobility after hyperextending. It only gets worse with time. Giannis probably not going to wake up feeling good.

Miller making it sound like Middleton can make up a 19 point deficit by himself in 14 minutes. I get it, he has to keep viewers tuned in. But oof. The other night Middleton had Giannis to act as a decoy.

I could see us still figuring it out without Giannis, not a great chance, but a chance with the last 2/3 at home, and a hobbled Young. But that would mean Giannis is seriously hurt, so the Finals would be a waste of time.

To be clear about Game 4 though, the Giannis injury did not cost us this game. Taking this game for granted and coming out flat for an entire half cost us this game. If we played to our abilities in the first half, we would be able to sustain 18 minutes without Giannis against an also wounded Hawk team.

 

Absolutely nobody to blame but ourselves if we end up losing this series because we took it for granted and did not do anything to take control of it when we had a chance.
