Also, happy birthday weekend to CC who is now apparently the same age (51) that Harvey Kuenn was during the Brewers 1982 World Series season.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Not that they're even remotely a threat, but the Brewers magic number to eliminate Pittsburgh is only Sal Bando at this point. I like crossing them out as we go.

Brady Clark, Turner Ward, Pete Ladd, Carlos Gomez, and Bob Wickman got the shaft.

There is a good chance Ricky Bones, Brett Anderson and everybody's favorite playoff CF will get shafted tomorrow too.

For the other olds on this site, did anyone else think of Bill Sharp? Anyone? Just me?

Why I remembered he was number 26, I have no idea.

"Go ahead. Try to disagree with me. I dare you." Jeffrey Leonard.

Harvey Kuehn, the player, looks older then CC does now. I suspect Kuehn in the crib, might have also.

You also have to remember some of the very serious health problems Harvey Kuenn had that led to his death at age 57.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I LOVED Jim Abbott growing up, and remember being absolutely stoked when he signed with the Brewers. His final season didn't exactly go as I had hoped it would, but he did have a few moments in his time pitching for Milwaukee, including a couple base knocks, which was impressive enough. Good choice!
