2021 Postseason Pre-Sales Announced

This is nuts, the Brewers are going to have massive fan interest for their playoff games. Just wait until the calendar turns to October they lead off the postseason with dominant outings from Burnes/Woodruff. Every causal sports fan in Wisconsin has been talking about the Bucks-Brewers title combo for months. My uncle who barely follows the Brewers asked about World Series tickets.

Game 1 of the NLDS is going to have wildly different fan interest than a hypothetical game 6 of the NLCS with a 3-2 lead. 4 years ago I would have been beating down the door to get to any NLDS game. Now it's certainly exciting but i don't NEED to be there as we've been this far quite often recently.

Yeah I won't be going to the NLDS. I'm not participating in the pre-sale this time but I'm just selling my strip, potentially until a clinch game of the NLCS and then I'd probably go to as many WS games as there are. I have some prior engagements 10/8 and 10/9 but winning a NLDS series a third time in 10 years isn't something I have to see in person.

I can understand that feeling from season ticket holders who have been to a ton of playoff games. It felt like there was some fatigue by the time games 6-7 of the NLCS arrived in 2018...I was able to get face value tickets relatively easily for both of those games. Those also happened to be only the 2nd and 3rd MLB playoff games that I had ever been to. And I think people like me are why the playoff games will sell out anyway...if season ticket holders don't want the seats there will be plenty of others to scoop them up.

As for reselling tickets at a markup...that's up to the Brewers to decide what is allowable. In my view, they are losing money when tickets are resold above face value and they should raise ticket prices if they think that is a problem. I would much rather just pay more to buy the tickets from the Brewers directly than deal with the unpredictable resale market.

And the whole Wisconsin presale thing is stupid. Stop it. It's just another barrier to me getting tickets, and I'm as big of a Brewers fan as there is. Given the blackout rules, it's easier to be a Brewers fan outside of Wisconsin than in Wisconsin.

At least you can use the seating map and pick specific tickets...I have recalled in the past many pre-sales you were forced to pick the section and get "best available", was always really annoying.

They won't announce time slots until they have a better idea of the teams involved. We are almost destine to get hosed into crummy times per usual.

I don't think so. I think it's pretty likely that both are afternoon games, like 2 or 3pm. I bought 4 for game 2 for a friend, they seemed to be vanishing very fast.

I did the same for a friend.

I agree I would not expect a primetime slot. Friday could be wildly unpredictable with 4 games to schedule all at different time. We could potentially have a noon game. Saturday with the Giants/Dodgers as the home team will get the 7 or 8 pm slot while we get the 330/430 pm slot.

What kind of seats were you able to get for game 2? That’s the one I want because my daughters who go to games with me can’t go on weekdays. I am only eligible for the 10 Pack Presale on Friday.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I got in maybe 45 minutes late and was able to get 2 tickets in section 220 for a friend.

There were tickets basically everywhere available but my friend asked for Loge Infield Box. I just noticed the seats disappearing upon refresh. I am sure there will be lots left by Friday.

One thing that does bug me is that my reg. season seats are Club Infield Box. My strip was pushed to Club Outfield Box "due to availability", which is kind of a lousy sightline...then somehow there are club infield box seats available at these pre-sales. Ticks me off.

Thanks. We don’t need great, low seats. Our 10 pack is in the first row of the terrace boxes behind home plate. I prefer higher behind the plate to lower down the lines.

I have the code but am not able to purchase any tickets. It just keeps saying no tickets fit my criteria (I only searched for 2), but it also isn’t prompting me to enter the passcode. (21WIDS) Is it prompting you for the passcode, how do I get to that page?

Did you enter the code and then click the green check mark next to it? That is what made the tickets show up for me. Good luck. I think it's a poor user experience to show a green check mark and then have to click it.

Thanks for the advice. I was able to get in. It’s showing only terrace level available. Other years it seemed I was able to get outfield bleachers pretty easy. Is this accurate with what other people are seeing available?

I'm torn on buying for this series. I want to badly but I also only have so many funds. I want to see the NLCS or hopefully, a World Series game this time.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I wasnt able to go to any games last time, so I jumped on and got 2 for game 1 this morning. I am hoping for an evening game, but have already prepared for an afternoon game Friday. If the Brewers make the World Series I will look at that when the time comes. :)

If the Brewers do start accepting orders for World Series tickets, be prepared for the prices to be dramatically higher than for the NLDS and for seat availability to be pretty sparse.

The NLDS tickets in the area that I purchased were about twice what the same seats would cost for a regular season game. In the past those prices rose significantly for each succeeding round.

For comparison, in 2018 seats in the terrace boxes were $50 for the NLDS and $90 for the NLCS. I forget what the World Series prices were, but I don’t think I qualified to order any because the 10 pack didn’t guarantee anything. You also know that ticket resellers will be that much more active for the NLCS and WS.

In terms of atmosphere, I think the earlier rounds may be better than the WS. So many WS tickets go to big shot sponsors and corporate season ticket holders that a lot of the people in the stands are less avid rooters for the home team.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Eh, just wait. Look at this way. If you buy tickets to a loss you will be disappointed. If they win you'll likely wish you hadn't gone already.

I got Section 206, but that was a couple of hours ago. Which game were you looking for?

Keep in mind, too, that the RF field bleachers has been turned into extra press box space for past postseasons. If seats there are even available for the NLDS, they wouldn't be for series beyond that.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

These are SSH prices so the pubic offer will be higher, but not exponentially so. I would count on availability being near zero if not zero. SSH are only allowed to buy 1 game to the WS if they did not purchase the strip.

Yeah, the terrace boxes were $60 for 10 pack holders. Based on this you can count on NLCS tickets to be roughly 4 times that and WS to be about 4 times. They will probably not be available at all to non season ticket holders. That leaves the secondary market, and the Bucks finals should be a pretty good indication of what that will be like.

I bought 4 full strips of 6 games in 1982 with no season ticket priority at all. The seats were down the line and high in the upper deck. Times have changed since then, and AFF has fewer seats than the old Stadium.

I expect it to be a pricey ticket but AmFam is a lot more seats than Fiserv. Demand for baseball in MKE is arguably higher, but I don't know if that really matters at this level. Bucks Mania seems hard to top.

Yea, I was able to get to in the RF bleachers for this one. I am fortunate to be fine financially, so the extra price for a WS ticket(s) doesn't bother me too much. I do realize I will have to grab from the secondary market, but how many times will they ever make the World Series? It is a challenging thing to do, so I may as well try it once.

Pretty much everyone I know is very meh on going to the NLDS but at least say they absolutely intend on going to WS game. Also, about 1/3 of available tickets disappear immediately for WS to sponsors, media, other teams, etc. I think you'd have a hard time getting in the ballpark for a WS game for less than 500 on the secondary market.
