"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

There aren't many better scenarios to see what we are really working with in our young QB2. Got the popcorn ready. This is a HUGE night for Love.

So this happened four years ago today.

Let's hope Jordan Love can spot wide open receivers better than Brett Hundley can.

I mean it would look like his vision is directly at the wide open WR. Maybe it was too far for him to throw.

Adding, Looking forward to Love playing. Lets see how his decision making goes, how good he throws the ball, and most importantly, will he get the plays off without using needless timeouts to avoid a delay of game. Sack Fumbles is also something to watch for. What do we think over/under is on times sacked? 5.5? 6.5? I'll just guess 6 times.

What a strange week this turned out to be. I’m not sure I’d even pick the Packers at Arrowhead with Rodgers. At least watching Love’s debut will be a bright spot during an otherwise crummy week. He might fall flat, but he might also do really well. I don’t know what to expect, but am cautiously optimistic Love can make this a game.

I’m not an X’s and O’s guy, but I imagine the Chiefs will try to take away the run game and make Love beat them through the air. Otherwise, the all too obvious strategy to me would be to run our RB combo up against the Chiefs’ so-so defense until they prove they can stop us.

Go Pack!

I'm looking forward to seeing what MLF has dialed up. I imagine this will be like the AZ game where they try to run clock and reduce # of possessions.

Calling the Chiefs defense so-so is being generous. They're pretty bad, and the reason that team is 4-4 and sitting at the bottom of the NFC West. They're bad and beatable. This was an imminently winnable game with Rodgers. I agree the strategy should be pound the ball and take the pressure off of Love.

That, and being ready to capitalize on KC selling out to stop the run. Should be an interesting game.

Keke is the only surprise inactive.

Maybe it’s not a surprise to anyone else. I guess I haven’t been following the injury report that closely with all the Rodgers drama. I assume he’s still recovering from a concussion?

This was reported either yesterday or Friday he wouldn't be active.

Thanks. Demovsky usually posts the daily practice / injury summary, but he was pre-occupied with passing off summaries of Pat McAfee as original reporting and undermining Rodgers’ local sponsorships.

What else are they? "Tied" for last place? Denver is less than two minutes away from beating the Cowboys, so technically, the Chiefs are in last place. Doesn't matter if it's "technically", that's right where they are halfway through the season. I'm pretty sure that's not where they figured on being at this point, and it's because of their really bad defense.

Was there realignment?

I hope Love looks a lot better than that the rest of the game because he did not even resemble an NFL quarterback on his first possession.
