Traded by Phillies with RHPs Brandon Ramey and Juan Geraldo to Brewers, Sept. 18, 2020, completing deal in which Brewers traded RHP David Phelps to Phillies for three players to be named (Aug. 31, 2020).

Geraldo missing 2022 due to Tommy John surgery, fall of 2021. Ramey was released on May 10th.

Absolutely agreed. He was such an intriguing story. Got his promotion out of the extended Arizona ST and was hurt after one outing if I recall. A real bummer. We wish him all the best.

That does suck about Jolon Zhao. Never know what might have been if the injuries didn't strike. 

It's going to be interesting to see if Puello can avoid the hard contact that was plaguing him earlier in the season now that he is in high-A. If results were any indication he seemed to have gotten better at limiting it in Carolina as the year went along.

With the first halves done, really thought we'd see a few more promotions before Tuesday's games (Robinson/Vassalotti, Kelly or Jarvis, Black, etc.)

- ’22 signing RHP Breijher Subero has missed the early portion of the season with an elbow strain but expects to make his pro debut in the second half of the season.

- LHP Pedro Quintana, acquired May 2021 in trade with Mets for OF Billy McKinney, underwent Tommy John surgery soon after the trade and expects to make a late-season return in what will be his pro debut.

- ‘22 signing OF Manuel Vargas will miss the entire season as he recovers from a torn ACL.

RHP Taylor Floyd has been assigned (and activated) to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers from Biloxi. 

Taylor struggled consistently in his 2022 abbreviated stint in Biloxi, unfortunately. Let's hope he can regain some semblance of his better stuff (akin to his 2021 season) for the T-Rats as he looks to find his way post-injury.
