Adams did have issues with drops in his first year as a Packer.

This is true and a bit in his second year. I remember people dogging Adams during his young days as he went through growth and maturation into the stud he is.

Do people look at drops like they do with QB inaccuracy? As in you can't learn to have good hands?

Thanks for taking a running back, Seahawks.

I’m not complaining, but the draft value points are in favor of the Vikings by about 120 points. That seems like a lot in the second round.

ETA: the final pick in the third is assigned 120, fwiw.

If all he does is stretch the field and drop passes then he's an adequate replacement for MVS.

Go sign Jarvis Landry and Ill be very happy with our WR group.

I don't see a fit. They aren't going to employ three predominantly slot guys (Landry, Cobb, Amari Rodgers) among their 6-7 man receiver corps.

Yea good point, any idea who’s left as FA WR?

BTW, Christian Watson is also an incredible blocking WR. We now feature Sammy Watkins (#1 ranked NFL WR blocker), Alan Lazard, and Christian Watson. That is some major beef in the blocking wideout front.

Will Fuller

Odell Beckham Jr.

T.Y. Hilton

Mohamed Sanu

Julio Jones

Might be worth seeing if Jones has anything left in the tank. He'd at least be a great mentor for Watson.

Not complaining, clearly Packers wanted Watson, but approaching 53 and Pickens is still out there.

I'm not big on the value-return on the trade, but after the run on WR's yesterday, I'm sure they didn't want to take the chance that the guy or guys they wanted today would still be hanging around at 53.

Pickens' character concerns were clearly concerns for a lot of teams. We shall see where he ends up, obviously, and he obviously has a ton of talent. Character of Watson vs. Pickens is 180 degrees on other ends of the spectrum tho. I think that's important to point out. Christian has been seen as the consummate great kid and fantastic teammate and locker room guy. I think Pickens was off many teams boards, honestly.

I imagine the grade they had on Watson is substantially higher than the one they have on Pickens. Pickens has every measurable you'd want, but perhaps he's simply too much of a head case? No concerns there with Watson.

Viking fans not happy with the trade if you go by the replies to this tweet

If any player has the likelihood of having multiple issues while in the NFL I would think it's George Pickens and not Wyatt.  Within a week of the draft and he is in an incident at 4am in the morning.  Can't unteach stupid.

We already got one character guy in this draft.  I think there's actually a team rule about taking two guys with character concerns.

So Watson automatically becomes our WR1?

If Watson is truly as good as he seems, I really kinda dont mind our top 3 right now… Watson, Watkins, Lazard isnt a terrible trio, other teams definitely have worse trios.
