The replay ump must have forgotten one of the basic rules of replay.

The general rule is that if there is no conclusive proof, the call on the field stands. 
 

But there is an exception that says that if the Cubs are involved, and there is no conclusive proof, the call goes to the Cubs regardless of the call on the field.
