Oh man, Pujols had stolen something like 15 bases in a row. He likes to steal one or two per year and hasn't been caught since 2015.

The Cardinals are probably going to protest that the sun went behind a cloud while Narvaez was hitting making that HR possible.

Brutal missed call keeps Goldschmidt alive.

Try comparing that pitch to the two he called Yelich and Cain out on.

Calls.

I posted after the first one.

That was ridiculous. I guess you have to be 40 years old to get a call.

Hahaha, sure was nice of the Cardinals to give the Brewers a free out with that bunt.

I love that kind of baseball "strategy" in 2022.

That was no free out with Edman running.

A fast runner bunting for a hit is not the same as a pure sacrifice.

Seeing Yeli hit a laser beam double on 0-2 makes me all tingly

Oh, I'm aware, but it was half hit attempt, half sacrifice. There was little reason to go for one base in that situation via a bunt other than you're willing to take the out in trade for moving the runners. And doing that in the third inning is just a bad idea.

It seems like the light coming through the windows may be causing the Cardinals to play small ball.
