Not being sarcastic … honest question:

Are those the first two back-to-back “barrels” for Cain this year?
What a help it would be if Cain begins to contribute offensively

Peterson had dropped below .200 before that 3-run blast

He seems to contribute in unique ways just often enough to keep his utility role on the roster

That was a big HR …

Hopefully, Burnes goes 7 innings & hands over a 4-run lead to Williams & Hader

A series split - on the road with key players on IR - would be huge for our Brew Crew

Yelich needs a day or two OFF

He’s back to his 2020 & 2021 self … unacceptable

He teased for a week & got my hopes up

He’s an average to below-average MLB player these days

If only we had the $$$ back that he & Cain are receiving

If it's a 4 run lead, Counsell isn't using Hader

This is such a fun inning to watch.

Beating the Cardinals is always great, but when their ace and defense start to implode on top of that, its the pinnacle of regular season baseball for me.

And when we're already in first place over them, too!

Told y’all. Never ever be concerned when Burnes is pitching. Just enjoy the starts and hope the offense puts a few across. Winning 4 of 7 on the road against two really good teams  is very solid. Team will have played 12 more road games vs home games when they finally return home. Also, I believe this is the most games they will play consecutively all season. 11 games in 10 days.

They have certainly held up pretty well thus far. Now, finish this game off without any issues and head to Wrigley to kick the crap out of the Cubs!

Because I’ve been especially hard on & critical of LoCain’s offense all year - I must acknowledge that he’s hit the ball well all 3 times he’s been up today … his best at bat resulted in a long line drive to deep RF where Donovan made a great defensive play to rob him of at least a double.
