Well here we are, the matchup of Brewers-Reds aces we’ve been anticipating for months. Jason Alexander brings a 2.16 ERA over 16.2 IP into this contest to face-off against 24-year old Graham Ashcraft (2.22 ERA over 28.1 IP). The Reds have won all five of Ashcraft’s previous starts which is especially impressive considering they have just 23 wins overall on the season. That includes victories over three winning teams (Blue Jays, Giants, Cardinals) during those five starts.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Alexander may not be our ace , but he has pitched pretty good for us. To lazy to go back and look , pretty sure he should have a couple of wins in a couple of his starts.

For those of you who are wondering about a possible defensive drop-off in CF with Cain no longer on the roster, Jonathan Davis' reputation on that end is as good if not better at this point in their respective careers.

I’m ready to see what Davis has.  Well wishes to Cain, but a change is needed and frankly Davis doesn’t have to be great to be an improvement.

Im looking for ground balls from Alexander, some more runs, and another win.

Likely why he was selected over Dahl

Offense looks way better with Yelich getting on base ahead of Adames, Tellez, and Renfroe.

The offense is so completely different if Yelich and Adames hit.  It’s great to see them swinging it a bit
