Apparently to watch for "free" on a PC you have to subscribe to the AppleTV+ free trial and give your payment data &c.  I ain't gonna.  I am used to listening on the always-a-full-minute-late MLB-TV audio.  But for $2.99/mo it's worth it.

No you don't, you just need a free Apple account, I never signed up for the trial or gave Apple my payment info.

on the 3-1 count to Urias it said his hit probability was 5%...I'm no wizard, but I'm pretty sure that's so wrong that somebody should be embarrassed it was broadcast....or narrowcast, depending on how many people can find the game.

Guessing the walk probability in a 3-1 count exceeded the likelihood of a hit.  Caught my eye as well.

FWIW, I have a PS5 and am watching the game for free on my TV (and it's in 4K). So a game console could be a viewing option for some people.

If the odds were for that very next pitch, then I might buy it (but it still seems low), but the odds of a hit for the rest of the AB are obviously much higher. Regardless, its confusing without explanation.

Right, just choose "Not Now" when it asks if you want to sub or get a free trial and it takes you to the main screen where you can click on the game.

Not a huge fan of the broadcast team (too many “next gen stats” IMO), but I’m loving the video quality enough to have searched whether the broadcast is 4k (1080p as it turns out, but high frame rate).

I've been missing the games since we dropped DirecTV; still waiting for Ballys to be on Roku.

Wasn't hard to log in to Apple.  Nice to see a game again.

 

Of course, they're wearing those ridiculous uniforms, haha.
