Do the "articles" have to be posted here?

Just clutter up the place imo.

If I want to read the articles, I go to the proper place to do so.

I sent Brock the same question (actually I made a request that the “articles” be removed) … he sent a friendly reply with an explanation … you might ask him

Guessing it’s for the benefit of people like me, who bookmarked the forum & skip directly to it.

(…not that I actually read the articles, mind you, but at least I know what it is I’m not reading.)

Doesn’t matter to me anyway, as long as they continue to have “Article” in the subject title. Also it probably is nice that if posters want to discuss the article, the forums are the best place for it.

Maybe perhaps fewer articles is the answer. The short ones that are rehashing roster moves or summarizing a week or series of games are pretty utterly pointless. It also doesn't help that  many of the writers of the articles aren't regular posters in the forums. There's a disconnect there.

I'm debating how to handle the transaction articles, expect some sort of change there in the next couple of weeks (I'm punting on most work until my kids go back to school in six days).

Yeah...I don't really see the issue either. I like them. Or people don't like them/comment on them and they move down.
