Looks like Reds are conceding this game, based on starting pitcher selection, Brewers should win this easily. Not sure I'll even watch any of it. Probably watch 1st of the season NFL games, including Packers/Vikings.

what the heck happened to Omar after that hot start last year? seemed like a lock for a big long term deal and now might be lucky to get 1 year at 4/5 million.

I'll be very disappointed if he's back in a brewer uniform next year.

This got ugly in a hurry.

Bad defense by Peterson, who has otherwise been stellar this year. Thankfully, Williams was able to get out of it with a little help from Mitchell. Needed series win.

Woody seems like a pretty stoic, water-off-a-ducks'-back kinda guy. But just to be safe, if we blew a lead for him again today I'd have kept him off the Hoan bridge.

I’m not sure those pitchers care that much about their personal won-loss records. Their main objective is to do their job and if they do it effectively they’re going to feel pretty good about themselves.

Of course, they want the team to win, and would like to get the W next to their a name, but I think they focus mainly on what they can control and compartmentalize everything else

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Not so much about HIM getting a W as much as doing his job to put the team in a comfortable position to win, then all that work going for naught. It came fairly close to happening twice in a row.

Personal wins are certainly largely unimportant to pitchers nowadays.
