Hard to imagine there’s anyone on the team with a more disappointing second half than Matt Bush.

Oh I can imagine a lot of players

People wanted bullpen help at the deadline and instead Stearns dumped off Hader and we ended up worse off in the bullpen overall.

Gold job, on our way to potentially another pathetic blown game the last month to help sink us.

Incredible! Just incredible! Get him out of there! I can guarantee everyone on this post! That Yelich will pitch hit late, and strike out!  I am out of here until next year!

He has to wait three batters doesn’t he

Yes. I hate that rule.

Either way someone should have been up immediately

That’s the narrative right: 3 game lead traded their all star closer for prospects and missed the playoffs

Everyone is expecting a 2-run hit coming up (probably with two outs to give us hope), right? Or is it just me?

And probably a six Hopper through the middle.

Adames is lucky they turned that DP. That glove hand toss was unnecessary BS.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

lol Yepez how do you not out run that double play?  OMG that looked like Estrada running there actually I think Estrada would have been safe.  That has to be the slowest run down the line this season?

In my coaching days if one of my kids would have done that it would have been the only time. Completely unnecessary.

So, they managed to escape the 7th with a one run lead.

How are they going to get 6 more outs?

Three more for Williams and probably Rogers or box in the ninth

Trading Hader mid season can be debated depending on one’s opinion…but trading him and then not attempting to get some solid help to offset it? Come on man. Getting back their 4.5 ERA closer and a 50 year old former first overall pick at the deadline?

I like the idea of consistently contending…but I’d also actually like to make the postseason and actually have a team built to make it past the wild card or NLDS too. We have 2 or 3 aces and so far we have made it past the NLDS/WC zero times with them.

I should have been more specific that I meant getting 6 outs without surrendering the lead.

The Cardinals throw out a scrub lineup the day after clinching the division and the Brewers are having trouble taking advantage.
