What evidence, as fans, do we have that a bad call is a conspiracy versus refs being humans and making mistakes? I think the accuracy of calls need to be improved across all sports, but does anyone have anything to prove it's a conspiracy other then sensationalized bad calls that can affect the game.

As in-stadium camera and at-home TV viewing tech has improved, reffing quality has declined.  Purely coincidental...

Good for him. It's a little weird to me he couldn't find a job this year for a contender. Seattle would seem like a perfect place for him. He's lost some leg strength(not as much as has been suggested IMO, but some).

But he's proven to be clutch, a good bad-weather kicker and he is pretty damn reliable beyond 50. Especially in big spots.

I agree it's a little weird it took Mason this long to land anywhere given some of the awful kicking in NFL. Although, I'm not sure why you thought Seattle would be a fit as Jason Myers is a Pro Bowl level kicker

Just going by kickers who've struggled this year on competitive teams. Seattle was the first that came to mind. He was also really bad in '21(the year Crosby struggled, he was even worse).

The Bills could be another. Both are near the bottom of the league in FG% and poor TB%...though it's always tough to tell with the later if that's by design or an issue with leg strength.

Detroit has really been showing a lot of chinks in the amour lately. I hope we get them in the first round.

After the slow start they're back in the lead and I don't think the bears are going to give them too much of a fight in the second half.

True, but it doesn't change my opinion of them. I think they're a one and done team regardless of who they play in the wild card round.

Probably but I think they have a more legit chance than Minnesota did last year.

That Team was flat out fraud.

A team that was beaten by an even bigger fraud.

Our losses to Denver, Vegas, and Atlanta are really starting to hurt now.  Still think we’re peaking at the right time, though.  But needing a win in week 18 to secure a playoff spot is going to be a little more interesting than I thought.  Bears have a few shades of last year’s Lions about them.

It kind of feels like the other 3 teams in the NFC North got a half season where the Packers weren't the annual favorite for the division title...and by the end of this season they'll be right back to wishing the Packers weren't in their division anymore.
