They’ve been brutal vs LHP again with a 72 wRC+ entering tonight, but they are above average overall on R/G (4.76 vs 4.56 MLB average) and vs RHP with a 108 wRC+. 

Last year they scored the 10th most runs in baseball, I’d say that is functional.

Brosseau is a roller coaster ride at 3B. 

I'd like to get to a place with our OF that Anderson can just take over full time at 3B and be done with it.  Get Tyrone back into the fold, and hopefully we won't need Anderson in RF very much.

They so badly need to get Taylor or some other competent outfielder so they can get Anderson back at 3B.

Man, what a difference it makes when you have a catcher than can hit.  Plus, he isn't nearly as slow as your average catcher.  Night and day difference to what has been at that position the past couple of years.

Now, if only CC can figure out that it's ok for Contreras to DH once in a while when he isn't catching.

I think he knows that and will do it on occasion, especially against a LHP when he can give Tellez a day off.

That was too close to overturn. Even if his door was a hair off the bag when he received the throw, he may have grazed it with his heel before he threw. 

Worth a challenge in the 8th inning but not likely to succeed.
