Counsell has to be kicking dirt today. Doesn't matter who he puts in for the most part from the Pen: they're going to walk a guy early.

B bullpen has been absolutely horrible today.  
 

Cousins should not be in the majors……can’t count on him

It always seems like there is one pitcher in the rotation that gets a disproportionate amount of the run support. Right now, Rea is that guy.

In his last four starts, the Brewers have scored 9, 6, 7, and 10 runs for an average of 8 RPG. 

In the other 15 games played between those starts, the Brewers have scored just 34 runs for an average of 2.27 RPG. 
 

In those other 15 games the Brewers have only hit the magic number of 4 or more 5 times, and they are 4-1 in those games. In the other 10 they are 1-9.

Let me make this my "Call up Thyago Vieira" official post. It. Is. Time. We have a very good bullpen - the stats prove it. I'm not letting this shoddy outing today change anything. BUT, a spade is a spade: he's the guy.

I've said it for awhile but he is an unknown outing-to-outing. Same thing in Nashville for the most part. It sucks. He absolutely has the stuff in his toolkit. But, for whatever reason, he can't harness it since his injuries over a year ago.
