It was a good pitch to swing at right down the middle of the plate.  That should be an extra base hit pitch there.  It was a strike regardless so swinging at a strike in the strike zone should always happen.  This team doesn’t have a lot of good hitters when down in the count so they really need to be swinging when there is a pitch thrown in a hitters advantage.

I’m not gonna mince words, what a pathetic and uninspiring lineup. Rowdy, Winker, Urias can all go. Adames we’re stuck with, Anderson is playing fine defense but cannot hit and we lack any other options.

The only way we score runs or so it seems is when they walk us 4 times , with a error and throw in a base hit. Rarely do we string hits together! Situational hitting is beyond the scope of our players, coaches and organization. These guys just don't have a plan when they are at bat unless you count swinging as hard as you can ! This line-up is just awful!

I think this is painfully obvious.  They are either incapable of having a plan or incapable of sticking to one.
