Atlanta is an incredibly good team & equally good organization

How could they let William Contreras get away?

He is - along with Yelich - the Milwaukee offense

They traded for an All-star catcher Sean Olson (0.392/0.582/0.974)

Because they got the best catcher in baseball this year in the deal.

I’m still shocked at how much value Ruiz had in that deal … netted us Contreras & Payamps

Apparently the only way the A’s would part with their catcher was for Milwaukee to include their speedy unproven CF prospect Estury Ruiz

Everybody won that trade

Reds are going to be in trouble with Abbott getting closer and closer to his career high in innings.

Do you mean his 91 professional innings in 2022 as his career high?

Because I totally agree on that. They’re gonna have to skip some of his starts to keep him under 130 IP.

Are peralta and burnes falling back into line or is it just the regression the reds should experience the remainder of the season?

Burnes and Peralta are much better than they've pitched at stretches this season.

But, yes, the Reds have been due for regression, too.

Regression happening simultaneously, here.

I don't think Taylor is going to be with the team much longer.

He's not going anywhere until the trade deadline. Would be different if Frelick was hitting in AAA, but he's struggled since coming back from injury.

Who did Taylor replace on the roster yesterday?

He’s had much fewer AB’s than Winker

I hope Taylor is given time to get back on track
