Good opportunity to rest the back end of the bullpen.

Eh, I don't mind losing but this clown show garbage is frustrating.

It’s been an interesting zone tonight, to say the least.  Not that Burnes is blameless for losing the feel on most of his pitches in this inning, but the zone is a factor.

Once again the Milwaukee media bubble is protecting the management. Imagine the pressure to get something done if this was ny or la. It really is something.

Don’’t see what’s negative about pointing out that Abbott has had two excellent starts against the Brewers, making stats based on 16 innings quite misleading.

Of course you don't.

I mean, yes, this is true in the sense that the Milwaukee media markets are quite different than LA and NY, but I think this sentiment misses a ton of context.  Would it really make sense for the Milwaukee beat reporters to grill the $100 mil dollar budget Brewers the same way one would a $350mil+ club?  Are expectations for how these teams construct rosters and approach a trade deadline not rightfully a little different?  Only speaking for myself, of course, I don’t find it all too surprising.

Montesario hitting cleanup. Wiemer 5th. I just don't understand how this is being allowed to happen. I wish the owner would actually step in a say boys I expect you to do what it takes to make me a champion.

Let’s hire prince fielder to start a fight in the dugout and get the hitting going.  does he still get in clubhouse fights?

I hope a lot of you are starting to understand after watching Weimer and Turang "hit" this year, that prospects are just that. Prospects. If the crew doesn't do something big this year then they simply don't care about trying to win a World series. I'm tired of the pussy footing around and making minor trades every year at the deadline and valuing their prospects so highly. That's BS. Trade whatever you have to trade to get some BIG, proven bats. Don't tell me they aren't available. Everyone is available for the right price.

He could easily do this if he gave the gm some extra money to work with

I agree but the sense of urgency given the situation could be ramped up by pointing out the madness of where things are.
