Teheran and Rea have been fine for what they were asked to come in an do, in fact more than fine, but we should also be exploring the market for another arm if we're serious about trying to compete. I'm not saying push our chips in but the sole focus shouldn't be on acquiring another bat or two. If Woody and Miley can't get healthy, it wouldn't matter if we traded for Mike Trout, you aren't winning anything with a rotation of Burnes, Peralta, Houser, Rea and Teheran.

Thanks for all the memories, Teheran:

He's going to make at least one more start.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Weimer looks like somebody put a blindfold on him, spun him around 12 times an then sent him to the plate.

If Woody and or Miley don’t comeback none of it matters…….we aren’t going anywhere…….could still possibly leak out the division but that’s it.

we only have a 2 days before the deadline……they aren’t going to,trade for a rental starter when they are counting on those 2 to return.

The fact that Turang and Wiemer are so bad at the plate this far into their rookie season is cause for alarm. Compare them to what we saw from Mitchell and now Frelick it's shocking. They cannot be counted on as building blocks from what I have seen so the future isn't as bright maybe as it seems unless Chourio is the real deal.

I’m not convinced.  They have options.

About to call up another baller from the Mexican League?

Nobody said anything about trading for a rental or that it had to be an expensive upgrade. And even if those two do come back, it's not like Houser can't be upgraded. They should 100% be scouring the market for an arm. Arnold would be failing at his job if he weren't.

Players develop at different paces, especially offensively.

None of them good.

Which is why they just stick with Ju, Ju, Julio.

I will yell to my last breath that this is an organizational problem. They need someone at the top level that understands hitting and is a my way or the highway type that addresses potential issues in the minors and not waiting till they get exposed at the big league level.

True, but you have to admit the level of concern is higher.

Not really…….it’s a sellers market and those guys have been ok……not great but serviceable…….assuming Woody and Miley come back……which at this point it looks like they will……our rotation will be excellent……

Rea, Tehran and even Houser have pitched well against a lot of teams not named Atlanta……when we get those other 2 guys back Rea is probably the 5th starter which is fine.

What extension would you offer Adames right now? I'm guessing 3 years 36 million should get it done.

Promise not to send him to the glue factory?

0 years, 0 dollars.
