A strike. I'm excited. Time to go to bed.

A fantastic choice! A choice of a true gentleman. I salute you, fine Sir.

Bullpen was a worry for me at the deadline. They punted. It's going to get worse down the stretch.

I have to disagree with this.    The bullpen was my last worry at the deadline.

this team can’t score.      Which means they can’t consistently win games against bad teams.    Which in turn will not see them in the playoffs.     It’s actually simple

Just so we're on the Level: Every one of those pitches for the first run-scoring walk via Chafin would be recorded as strikes via ABS. Every single one touched the border of the strikezone.

Is ABS the size of Lake Michigan?  Because that's the only way this is true.

I guess we could call up Eric Lauer for relief work.

Now, you see, here's a man with an idea. And, sometimes, all it takes is an idea! I like the cut of your jib, Daniel. I salute you.

Blue Font, Sir. Meta-Blue Font. I failed you. Rectified. The color of Lake Michigan, actually.

The flip side to scoring 10+ last night usually means 10 runs total for the rest of the week.

I was completely unaware I was coming back to this one to watch the Shuckers bullpen in the 10th. Pretty amazing rabbit out of a hat trick by the Brewers here.

The frustrating part is the Brewers just played 9 games against very bad teams. Going 6-3 would have given them a pretty comfy 3-4 game lead.

They went 4-5.

Yep.     They needed to build a cushion in this stretch.     But now it’s just going to take a bad weekend against the dodgers or bad week against the dodgers/ rangers and they are toast.

I am guessing the Crew doesn't score here.

Probably 10,000 to 1 that we score 4.

Send Chafin back to wherever he came from. epic fail.

True but that's why they needed pen reinforcements. The fact we can't score means more bullpen use in tight games. They didn't add a big bat so a big arm would have been nice. Hicks from Cards would have been nice.

As much as the miserable 10th sucked the fact all they could muster was 3 runs is usually going to lose.

They were going to try to win this game 2-1 with the bullpen having to shut everything down.    It’s so tiring at this point

And btw the bullpen can win some of these games too again.     We’ve given them some slack but they’ve lost 3-4 games in this crap stretch against horrible teams too

With no margain for error and an over used bull pen it's a losing strategy.

I said after the demoralizing blowout sweep by the Braves I said that anything less than 7-3 in these 3 series would be disappointing.

Disappointment was guaranteed on Sunday and now it’s just a matter of mitigating the damage.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

We started the game with our 2-3 best player and guy with 15 rbi in 15 games on the bench just because cc doesn't think he can hit a lefty. Crazy stuff.
