Hiura should have been released at the deadline so he could get a shot somewhere else. If this team doesn't call him up then let him continue his career elsewhere.

Like I said the manager ain't helping them.

Counsell asked Taylor to bunt them inexplicably took it off so he could hit into a dp. Please Sophia ask a good question for once and ask why?

20 homers in 73 games ... Keston Hiura!

Yeah. To not give that guy a shot after watching this all year makes you think it's personal. Only explanation.

Ballgame.

This series is a perfect preview of what I would expect if these teams meet in a playoff series.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I don't know who bears the ultimate blame for the perennial offensive ineptitude of this team, but it's a true organizational embarrassment from top to bottom.

Corbin Burnes deserves better than this.

The last thing I’m worried about is that.    This team is going to have to do everything possible just to get into the playoffs.    At that point it’s a win for me

i mean.    Watch these guys hit.

Maybe this series will force an offensive shakeup, who knows.

Not sure their is much you can shake. At this point they are not going to dump the hitting coaches even thought they probably should.

If you're Burnes ask for a trade this off season. Why be a lame duck and then go into free agent year with a 5-7 record because you get no offense. Cut the cord.

They can start with DFAing Anderson at the very least.

This game is a prime example of ownership ineptitude.  The offense has sucked all year.  Mark A and Matt A brought back, in short, the same exact offense that sucked last year.  Expecting different results with a few rookies..  There is absolutely no excuse to score 3 runs in a 3 game series against anyone (there isn't a single poster here that thinks we score a run in the 9th). You can't continue to run the same philosophy year in and year out and expect different results.  You did this when we got to the NLCS (albeit with pitching being the inept area).  Your franchise was gifted 3 elite cost controlled pitchers and you didn't do a single darn thing to improve the offense.  Shame on Mark A and his 'attempt' at being an owner.  Your in a class just above Jeffrey Loria.

Because no one's going to care what his W-L record is?
