They have been dead and then alive and then dead and then alive and now dead again throughout this whole season.  They were playing well in the early part of the season and then Judge got hurt and they sucked for awhile and then Judge came back and they looked solid again to only fall flat on their face again.

Not sure it is a manager problem but more of a veteran team that can't stay healthy mixed in with some growing pains of some younger players.

Oh, Boone is gone after the season for sure.

I realize we are up 7-2 but come on Willy.

Was coming to say the same thing. Lol.
The Brewers have been playing really good the last month or so when they are patient and taking pitches. Good things happen when you work it and make contact!

Yankees payroll is almost 300 million. Who are they paying because I hardly know any of these guys.

Judge - $40M

Cole - $36M

Stanton - $32M

Rodon - $23M

Donaldson (DFA'd) - $21M

Rizzo (on IL) - $17M

DJ - $15M

Severino - $15M

Hicks (DFA'd) - $11M

There's $210M of their like $280M total

Good thing we have a decent lead ! Not sure why Adames is swinging first pitch with a guy struggling to throw strikes !

I am trying to think back of my most frustrating brewer to watch.  Him and Bill Hall are probably at the top of my list.  Most extreme extremes of Hall of Fame to little leaguer play at any given time.

Brutal. Outside of Judge and Cole nobody to write home about.

It makes sense the Brewers are having their way with the Yankees. They were 8-2 in their last 10 games going into last night.

And there goes my dream of winning back to back 8-2 games.

More than likely because it is the Yankees.  I don't think Boone has really cost them that much this year.  It has been mostly the players.  Stanton looks cooked and not the same player he was even two years ago.  Pitching wise Cole has looked good this year and Schmidt hasn't been all that bad.  Rodon has been injured most of the year.  I wouldn't be surprised to see the Yankees at 90+ wins next year.  They have the talent on their team to be better than what they have been.

I am not a fan of Willy at all as a player but he seems to be a great clubhouse guy.  He also has a solid 40-50 elite at bats a year that make you wonder how good he could be if he truly took a consistently patient plate approach.  An example was last nights homer.  Absolute thing of beauty.

Remember being ticked when the resigned Hall , he had one good year and they gave him a good contract for that time ! Like you said , Hall and Adames are similar will drive you nuts but are overall good guys that you want in the clubhouse !
