I'm just disappointed we won't find out what it would have been like to be a fan of the 64 Phillies. I thought for sure we were headed that route after a (checks notes) TWO game losing streak.

They almost certainly don't.

If it were to happen, Anderson going would make more sense then Tellez IMO, but if compelled to do so they probably would've by now.

Yeah. Wainwright I'm sure has some of those qualities, but you usually don't get a lot of benefit from those intangibles from a starting pitcher.

Chicago is now closer to the Pirates in the standings, than they are to us. Meaningless, but who woulda thunk that was going to happen?

Also noticed that the braves are starting to play baseball again.    That doesn’t bode well for cubs next week

No clue as to the movie, but I always thought with the 'stache he looked like the Oklahoma State mascot. Now he doesn't look like anyone.

Props for mentioning the Ok St mascot. 

 

Missed the game and the thread (Grandparents' Day at the kindergarden, y'know).  But I was thrilled to look in and see us up 6-0 in the bottom of the 9th.  Then another Cubs loss.  And grandson's k-garden teacher is very easy on the eyes and has a killer Belgian-French accent, as well.  Not a bad day at all!
