Three years of waiting. For this.

He looks good in practice!

That game was right there for the taking all night. Offense can’t get 20 on a long week of prep against that team?  Ryan Fitzpatrick gets that done.  Love has to clear that bar.

Watson should've fought for that ball harder.  Falling backwards, but did nothing to try to knock it out.

I've said it all along that this year was all about finding out who Love is.  Bears fans are still telling us that Fields is "it".  I'm not ready to give up on Love, but he is certainly trending the wrong way.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

I guess I question how a 6'4" receiver that's watching that ball the whole time it's in the air isn't able to make a better play on that.  That turned what should've been a jump ball/potential defensive PI situation into an INT because he just kept running.  Guaranteed that's not how a guy like Mike Evans would've finished that route.  Still not a great throw but one that Watson could've done alot more with.  The series prior on the 3rd down where Watson was running deep, the throw wasn't perfectly in stride but it also didn't look like Watson made a hard adjustment and drove towards the ball while it was in the air.  Deep threat receivers need to have that ability to "go get it" instead of expecting a perfect toss if they want to be playmakers.  Haven't seen that from Watson at all in his career thus far, and it's disappointing

That throw after two drops by Doubs and Musgrave (ball was behind him a bit) on the downs prior - trying to give his guy an opportunity to make a play I can live with.

Frustrating loss on another winnable game - both of these teams are in the NFL blob this season.

I hated everything about that throw.  Field in front of you is wide open, he's covered, and even if he's not there would have left plenty of time for the raiders to at least tie.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

Love's been completely set up to fail. I'm not even saying he's good but give him a break guys.

-David Bhaktiari is literally useless

-Elgton Jenkins isn't playing

-Aaron Jones has played 1 game

-Christian Watson has essentially played 1 game

-His veteran wideout right now is Romeo Doubs

If I gave you this list in June, how would you think things are going?

I hear you (though Jenkins played tonight?).  But it’s 20 points. I’m not asking for Mahomes or Allen…or even Rodgers.  Can’t be a little Fitzpatrick tonight?  Can’t keep it to one or two picks?

He was bad, that is indisputable. And yes Jenkins did play. Misread a headline that had Jones out but used his photo.

Either the shambled OL or the WRs would be a lot to ask of Love...they have asked him to do both...and without Aaron Jones.

It's too much. Maybe he isn't the answer but I don't think many would look good at QB on this team right now.

To put it in some perspective Rodgers also came in with a poor OL. But he was throwing to Driver and Jennings who both had 1,000 yard seasons. Nelson was a rookie that season.

About the same as I predicted in June (well, August) without knowing all that.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Thinking it's time Stenavich either gets his old gig back as Oline coach...or this coming offseason there's a housecleaning in store if things do really go sideways.  Since he got promoted to Offensive Coordinator a couple offseasons ago the line play has gone downhill and the offense has really cratered (particularly with young players we grew accustomed to seeing develop, coached up, and actually take the field able to play) - even with Rodgers at QB last season.  MLF wears that, too since he's likely the actual coordinator/playcaller and they retained Stenavich for continuity more than anything after their staff got purged in 2022.

I just don't like a really young team that's also poorly coached, and that's what this feels like right now.

Love has had years upon years to prepare for this moment behind one of the greatest QBs ever to play. Even if his situation is less than ideal, it is quite a bit better than most ‘rookie’ QBs typically have. I get you can’t replace actual in game playing completely, but jeez.

He should be better than this.

I, for one, wish the Packers would stop trying to win ever game at all costs. Because it ends up being Love throwing 5 yards and very little risk taking. We aren’t winning the Super Bowl this year. Find out what he can and can’t do. Not baby the offense all game long for him.

I’m still open to the fact that I’m judging this emotionally.  There’s a lot of bad football out there this year, not just in Green Bay.  But I look at Mr. Irrelevant in San Francisco and consider we went up to get Love and prepped him for three years and he’s struggling.  You want him to show growth (and, MLF needs to show growth, too—this year is as big for MLF as for Love).  Big decisions need to get made and results like this in December makes QB look like a need.

they're just so young on offense. D on the other hand....
