Should have printed that comment in blue…lol.

I began to wonder about it weeks ago. His injury wasn't so severe that it should keep him out six weeks. He's been practicing but somehow still can't play in a game? And his personality doesn't exactly scream team first either. Players play through injury all the time, especially at this point of the season. Why can't he? It's either he's got a low threshold for pain, or he's just not interested in playing for whatever reason., at least not in the regular season. His team sure could've used him yesterday. I'm just ready to move on from him. Trade him and get some draft capital.

I think he might have De’Vondre Campbell disease and if that’s the case I would be surprised if the Pack could get anything higher than a 6th round pick for him. I’m sure other teams have much more insider information than we fans have access to. Gutey and MLF have really backed themselves into a corner with this one by not initially placing him on the 4 game IR. All the clues are there that him not playing is more than his injury; not putting him on IR, fully practicing for 2 weeks, and MLF’s evasiveness to reporters questions. His past history has shown that he is much more interested in himself and not his teammates or team. The coin flip incident from last year and subsequent 1 game suspension might have soured Alexander’s feelings toward MLF and the Packers permanently. I also question MLF’s ability to control his clubhouse coaching both Alexander and Campbell during his tenure

I guess you'd question the 49ers also since they couldn't coach Campbell either?  Or what about Z Smith?  He hasn't lasted anywhere for very long (despite actually producing).

Sometimes people just aren't team players.  I tend to think some of this is a Joe Berry hangover too.  But if Alexander doesn't play again this year, he shouldn't be back.  He seems to have a low tolerance of "don't want to play against JJ or St. Brown and embarrass myself".

The "sign a veteran QB to be our starter" seems to just condemn a team to mediocrity. Not rebuilding, not a SB contender. Feels like SF just has to re-sign him and hope he doesn't think he's a $50m player.

KC rolling out their practice squad QB for their game against Denver. They clearly have a preference for who they'd rather play.

Maybe Rodgers will finally get his wish and be a 49er next season. Hard to justify giving Purdy a $250 million contract.

Which is bigger at this point? Rodger's chip from being slighted by the 49ers during the draft or his desire to play for the hometown team?

We all know the Rodger's ego part is going to be the biggest of all...

Needless to say, this is the first Browns game I've watched in a long time but OMG, they have to have the worst quarterback problem in NFL history. You'd have to invent a new word to accurately describe the suckitude of their quarterbacks the past 25 or so years.

You were saying? The Cowboys almost pulled it off too.

I assumed since we were playing for seeding we would be playing our starters the whole game. That didn't happen. If we do, they do win.

And the Pats beat the Bills.

I don't believe a single starter played for the Bills today it was basically a preseason game.  Trubisky was the starting QB for the Bills today and Maye only played briefly for the Patriots.

Oh, ok!

Are you saying if Love and Jacobs play the whole game we still lose? Because that's a pretty bold statement. I can't know MLF's mindset going into this game. And by the way he coached this game, I'm not sure he knew either.

I am not sure what the separation between Love and Willis really is this season, based on what we have seen. I would for sure take Love in the long term, I think, but this year they have looked awfully similar. That, combined with the Packers not looking so great when the starters were in, and that both games ended in a FG attempt...I am saying that I don't really think it's a safe assumption.

Bears played like they really wanted to win this game. So did Dallas. But it never stops anyone from making these locked in guarantees.

Fair enough. Maybe it was a mistake to give Love that huge contract after only a half season of great ball. That's one of the cons of grooming a quarterback for three years. Willis is a fine backup but that's all he is, a backup. Wins over The Colts and a Titans team that now holds the #1 pick in the draft shouldn't change that.

Willis is a 25-year-old former 3rd round pick whose prior stop was in Dumpsterville. In a much better situation, he has looked pretty good. I don't think you can definitively say he's "just a backup."

I don't know where he'll go from here, but he just hasn't shown any drop off when Love leave games, this season anyway.

Darnold looking shaky.

He's making Detroit's injury ravaged defense look like the 2000 Ravens. Should be 14-7 right now.
