I just watched Scott Scheffler play a masterful -8 64 to become the first player in the 50 year history at TPC Sawgrass to win back-to-backs. Scheffler is incredible. Wyndham Clark lost in gut wrenching fashion, to boot, missing the potential tying putt on 18. Perfect line. Felt like perfect pace. And it just didn't drop even tho it touched 1/2 the cup.

AND, this was Scheffler's 8th Tour Win. He has 1 Major.

Tiger won 82 Tour events and 15 Majors. My gods I miss watching prime Tiger play golf. 😅

Somewhat related, but the PGA really needs to look at their schedule.  Phoenix Open the same weekend as the Super Bowl?  TPC Sawgrass the same weekend as college basketball conference tournaments?  The Phoenix Open last year, when the Super Bowl was also being played in Phoenix - was embarrassing.  Half the stands on the 16th filled, if that.  I'm sure that hotel rooms because of the Super Bowl were ridiculous if they were even available.

Need to move both of those a week earlier (or Phoenix open a week later) and replace with lesser tourneys to get more fan engagement.

Don't get me started on the silliness therein. Completely agreed. It's almost as if the PGA Tour is self unaware. Just classic flippancy and idiocy.

Regardless, I just love watching good golfers compete. Wyndham Clark's current play has brought stiffer competition atop the Leaderboards. That putt on 18...what robbery. I was elated to see Joel Dahmen make a Top 20 charge - been a rough start to his year but he is such a likable guy after watching Full Swing season 1.

Wow. Rory really spit the bit down the stretch didn't he.

That was definitely a gag job special.

Much as I'm not a fan of him I have to give Dechambeau credit for turning really awful drives into par saves.

For me the guy comes off as a bit of a douche nozzle.

People are gonna forget the bunny Bryson missed on 16.

I can sometimes do one or the other but never can I do both. 😭

After a 20-year hiatus, I started golfing again this year.  My short game will still save me from my poor drives and get me on the greens, but then I'll 3 putt. 🤦‍♂️
