Hall in the Seattle game was really unlucky on weak hits and dribblers, overall did fine.   Just like the dribble Turang just messed up to give up a run.

But really the main thing is why is his FB way off from what was told. Is he hurt, does he need more build up, etc.

4 starts only, but Hall seems to have a lot to figure out. I'd give him a little more leash. He's not THIS bad, so the results are going to improve. If I had to bet, I'd say they don't improve enough to outdo the value he'd provide in the bullpen. But I don't see a lot see a lot of harm in another couple starts given that you're very likely to see some improvement.

No one should be surprised by Hall’s inability as a starter - he was available for a reason

He is a AAA pitcher at this point - he should learn to start there not on a competitive MLB team

Milwaukee is in a tough position with their starting rotation

Hall needs to be removed from the starting rotation but we don’t have healthy options to replace him

Another pen killing start.

He may need to take one for the team today & throw as many innings as possible despite the results

Hall does not look like a MLB starter at this time

Just leave him out there to suck and send him down.   You might as well not ruin future games because this guy is terrible.     Let him pitch a bunch of innings today and he can go away for awhile.    There is no point to trotting him out there every five days until he shows he can pitch.    Give someone else a chance

A few of our recent losses have come when the starting pitcher had a bad inning

I fear that could be the case today as well

Hall is not ready to help us just yet

I'm not ready to give up on Hall, but he needs to be trying to figure things out down in AAA not in the majors.  Let him try to have some success down there and bring him back up later in the year.

I’ve seen more than enough of Hall. If he isn’t injured the Burnes trade is a total bust.

I think Hall's going to provide value in the bullpen no matter what. Ortiz looks promising as well.

For one year of Burnes, I just don't think a lot more was out there.

It's also April. Hall's got a good arm. He hasn't figured it out as a starter. He might not. I think it's totally reasonable to argue that it's wrong to continue this experiment at all, but there's something worthwhile in this guy. He just hasn't shown much of it in his first 4 (!) starts.

Literally any pitcher in Nashville would be an improvement over Hall!

That makes too much sense

Only FO pride would keep them from making this decision

Many, many outs left here. If Hall can get through another scoreless, give him credit. This was going to be an "over" kind of game today (I didn't see the total beforehand, but I would be surprised if it was lower than 9.5).

Gotta score at least 5 to win. Seems about right.

That Sophia segment just proved it as well, all of the quotes from her there point to him pitching in the minors.

"Very hard transition" "Acquired late in the offseason"....

He’s not going 100% effort for 25 pitches like you would out of the pen; he’s focusing on his endurance to throw 90-100 pitches

If I had to pick between Burnes WAR this year, or Ortiz and Hall WAR over their time with the Brewers.... I'm taking Hall/Ortiz

Is there another guy on this roster who looks more improved than Turang? Another guy in the big leagues?

I mean, I saw Bryce putting together lots of good ABs late last year. I was really excited about his development. But this is...beyond. I suppose you could say similar things about Perkins.

well he's not gonna hack it as a starter then in the low 90s.  So many starters can do the upper 90s now and MKE has been a spot in the last few years to figure out ways to get an extra 2-3 MPH out of someone rather than the other way around like has happened with him.

Good bounce back from the O, remember the bases loaded and Contreras out at the wall, this could have been a big number for them today
