Why? Wiemer goes home on the contact play but stays in the rundown long enough for Contreras to get to 2nd……..if he doesn’t go the result is the same. Turang steals 2nd to eliminate double play.

The strike out and dribbler is what hurt not the base running.

Tough to score runs when 2/3 of the lineup is in a slump and the ones that aren't in a slump aren't doing much either.

Our 5-8 is so soft right now. Turang should be up there but Murphy doesn't believe in lefties hitting lefties.

Evidence is mounting that the run of games a couple of weeks ago was an aberration, and that this offense is not very good.

It seems like every time the Brewers score 10 or more runs in a game it takes them at least four games to score another 10 runs total
