Not sure if Myers is sent down for Gasser or a relief pitcher. Just not real confident in Gasser right now but guess a relief pitcher injury could always bring Myers back up.

Myers has earned a rotation spot for now. I would assume Hergert goes down and Gasser is down tomorrow since Peralta's suspension is then over.

Gasser looked good. That sweeper is a nasty pitch, and he threw it for strikes. When it was backdoor for a strike that is a thing of beauty right there.

I’d think Gasser takes another turn in the rotation. Are we still keeping a six man rotation?

Is a rotation of Peralta, Wilson, Ross, Rea, and Gasser good enough to win a division?

Jhoulys Chacin (35 GS), Chase Anderson (30 GS) and Junior Guerra (26 GS) were our primary starters in 2018 with a little Brent Suter (18 GS), Wade Miley (16 GS), Freddy Peralta (14 GS) and Zach Davies (13 GS) mixed in.

I would take this year’s rotation over that one. I also think Misiorowski is going to be part of the bullpen at some point in 2024 a la 2018 Corbin Burnes. I think this bullpen has a chance to be as good or better once Williams returns. It is fun to start comparing this roster to the 2018 roster, which was obviously very strong.
