Myers made the White Sox look like a potent offense. That isn’t easy.

This team really needs to do something about the starters if they want to make it all the way until fall.   It’s admirable how they did the job these first two months but I just don’t think it can last the other four.  Not counting that they are killing our relievers too

Its hard to sustain success with one starting pitcher with above average stuff and everyone else being bottom of the rotation guys. The concern has to be how this bullpen will hold up consistently pitching 4 plus innings nightly.

Good fastball with slightly above average speed, elite vertical break. His release doesn't help him use it as well as he could but it is a good pitch. A good cutter with late cut that plays well off his fastball. A strong slider with good vertical movement and limits hard contact.

Brian telling us that a year ago Myers was 1-15 with an era over 7.00 in triple A didn't make me feel better.

The upside here is that the White Sox bullpen and defense is garbage so it shouldn’t be hard to score runs.

Sal gets ripped off on that high strike so often. Should have been a walk.
