Pat Murphy disaster class tonight. Let Rea see the top of the order a 3rd time which turned our 3 run lead into a 1 run deficit. Used Milner against the same pocket of the order that he gave up a run against last night. Used Peguero with runners on base.

We used 4 pitchers already tho, we don't have many relievers left

Ahhh Bauers for Chourio. That's why we are down.

I mean the kid is putting together some of the best ABs of his young career and this is the move that will win us the game? I thought we were past this...

Chourio not even having a bad game, 1 for 3, and Murphy just cannot help himself. He has to substitute him out.

Meanwhile, Frelick gets to face a lefty....This season has been about development from the start. It's great that we're winning and you're always trying to do things that help you win, but we're down 3 man.

Now, watch Contreras hit a 3 run shot to make me look like a fool. lol

Very poorly managed game. Another poorly pitched game. Just not a good series at all.

5 pitchers yesterday, 5 pitchers today, What else can you do if everyone is getting hit???

Contreras slowly playing himself out of clear all-star status.

His slump is coming up on almost 150 PA.

Padres offense in this series has reminded me of our offense at the start of the season. Remember those days when everything was fun? Now we need to pray our ground balls with runners on base find holes because outside of Adames nobody is consistently driving the ball in the air.

Ya boy, Blake is up over 200 PA by now. Since Mid-April, he's at 79 wRC+, .220/.296/.324 with a 28% K rate.
