22-year old RHP Jacob Misiorowski (3.10 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, 11.3 K/9 in 58 IP) makes his 2nd start of the week, aiming for his 3rd consecutive scoreless outing. A win would give AA Biloxi a 4-2 home series victory over Pensacola.

We sat LF Zavier Warren and his 6-game hitting streak yesterday in a 4-2 loss, then choose to bat him 8th today. And we’re sitting OF Carlos D. Rodriguez and his 11-game hitting streak today. Interesting.

Just glanced at the Mudcats schedule and they play at Down East next week so no audio/video....least favorite weeks of the season.

It's 3 games, relax! We will have Chris Edwards back on Thursday(:

Misiorowski's velo down a bit here early. His last 2 FB have been 94 mph one a called strike 3 the other a HR.

Looks like those 2 FB were an aberration. He's been 97-100 outside of those.

Isaac Collins ties it up on a blast to right field! 6-6, still in the 8th inning. That’s his 10th homer of the year. And Clarke follows with a walk.

It's not like I watch every (or even many) Sounds games but I was at the game today and Collins is the dude that stands out on that team and it's not really all that close.

Bad Miz night. Oh well. He has 2 nice starts. Consistency is the one thing he is lacking and needs to find it somewhere. Arm talent is there. And I’m sure the drive is there.

You see what I've been talking about for over a year and a half. The young man can play. And, he's taken it to another level in 2024. He's a legit option for the MLB roster in 2025. The little bit of power he's discovering is something - he's a switch-hit option. Limited to 2B and LF, however. That really hurts him as he doesn't have that plug-and-play all 3 spots left of 1B true utility. It will likely be his Achilles' heel. He gets thrown in CF from time-to-time for the Sounds but I don't see that as a serious position for him considering the wealth of true CF options on the Brewers.

In 2025 Collins possibly could fill the 2B vacancy if Turang fills SS with Adames probable departure in FA.

It think that wouldn't be the worst. Can he play 3B? I think he might be best as a utility bench piece 5th OF/2B/3B. I still have some hope that Boeve or Wilken will be ready at 3B and then Ortiz at SS and Turang at 2B.
