That would be nice ! Not asking for much! Hit 260 , 25 HR and 80 rbi

Hoskins hasn’t been a .260 hitter since 2017.  At best you are looking at a .250 hitter.  His last four years have been around .245.

Contreras would be better served taking the All Star game off and getting some rest. He's worn down and this lineup is suffering big time without him hitting.

He’s trying to pull everything.   Swinging at garbage.  Completely different player.  This team is in trouble

Yeah, it seems he's just guessing and not seeing the ball well.

This team sure is having trouble laying off crap pitches outside the zone lately.

Also laying off good pitches in the zone. A double whammy!

I believe the current line of thinking is that they were never this good anyway so we should just sit back an be happy with sub-optimal performance.

Wasn't talking about Hoskins! Just hoping that we could get a first baseman who could give me that stat line ! Hell , right now I would take a guy who could hit 240 , 25,80

Not entering the break on a very good note.

Just like the Yankees and the Dodgers....

We can thank Murphy for that.

To be fair, half those pitches would be called strikes.

Correct, just like other teams that are playing horribly.

C'mon, breaking that extremely meaningful and important record was top priority!

Contreras is the engine of this team. How far does your car go if the engine is in disrepair? I still say Murphy wore him down early. The injury didn't help but I wish he had all star break off.

The wear and tear that a catcher takes is why I would never pay one into their thirties and have no interest in a long term deal with Contreras.

Don't care about the Yankees or dodgers! It seems we have struggled going in to the break the last few years!
