So after the quick hooks in Myers' last two starts, Murph is sending him out for the 8th at 94 with the pen in good shape?  Interesting.

I definitely would have taken him out. He’s been hit hard last few innings just right at people

Yeah it's just incredibly bizarre managing from Murphy. Pull the kid after 5 innings and a low pitch count in his last start because you don't want him seeing an order a 3rd time then tonight you bring him back out for the 8th with a pretty elevated pitch count after he had been giving up hard contact for 3 straight innings? Just don't know how you can manage things dramatically different from start to start.

How about stop trying to hit the ball a mile

Amen. There's a certain point when the harder you swing the slower your bat gets.

I believe it was like 95 and the Nationals lineup is very left handed. At least that was his reasoning was the heat and humidity

That’s why the guy is on the roster. He can just keep hitting clutch bombs for the next three months, thank you very much.

Yeah that 3-0 swing was horrible from Adames. Just so out of control. When you're that out of control it's basically just blind luck if you hit the ball.
