Anyone have any tips for free parking near AmFam?

I don't mind a little walk to get there, so just looking for tips on where free parking is available.

We used to park at the Vet Hospital, but I know a couple years ago they started cracking down on that.

Any other ideas?

You could park off Bluemound and grab a drink at the tavern and get a free shuttle. I usually go to Kelly's and park for free on the side streets.

A friend of mine used to live near 56th & Greenfield and we'd walk from his house through the VA Hospital grounds.  Took about 20 minutes.  Don't know if it's still free parking in that neighborhood.

Lots of parking on 56th, and you can walk the Hank Aaron trail to the VA, and end up at the right field corner.

20 minutes.

Dugout 54.  There is a church a block to the west you can park at where they take $10.  You also get a voucher for a discount on beer / food if you eat at Dugout 54 before the game.

You can choose to park on the street and use their shuttles, too.

The drivers are paid by tips only, so a couple of bucks works well.  We have used them for almost all of the games we went to this year.  Much cheaper and easier for sure.

I park on 44th Street near the stadium but it can fill up fast.  Many of those spots are closer than general parking.

This is my go to as well. But you definitely need to get there pretty early to get a spot.

The tavern shuttles others have suggested, otherwise if I really want free, I park at Target and walk through the park by the VA. Can get a bag of peanuts on the way in and any home goods you need on the way out. Never had a problem.

I know about the shuttles, have used them many times.  Usually go grab a burger at one o those spots pre-game and take their shuttles.

Was looking for another option if we didn't want to spend that much time beforehand, just park and get to the stadium.

Thanks so far to all who have replied!  Appreciated!
