Game 8: Packers @ Jaguars - Sunday, Oct 27th at 12:00PM

Let's not worry too much about losing Hafley to a HC position just yet. Those last two drives were as poor as it gets. You knew the Jaguars were going to pass, they were undermanned and you STILL couldn't stop them.

I'm shocked they didn't go for two. They would've made it.

All the time left. Figure they can just stop us, get the ball back, and win with a FG.

That's beautiful, but Reed needs to cut that back in, keep the clock running and make the Jags use their 2nd timeout. That's going to be big.

EDIT:

Well maybe not, they can still run most of it out.

They just are not going to let him throw unless they absolutely have to.

Everybody is getting hurt today.

One could legitimately make the argument that without Willis, the Packers could be 3-5 right now instead of 6-2. It can't be overstated how important a pickup he's been. Glad Gutekunst understood that Clifford wasn't ready to be a QB2.

You have to look back at the A-Rod trade. And look very quickly back to the Willis trade. And, well, just absolutely laugh your literal ass off in complete joy. What an absolute sequence of QB moves by 'The Gute'. Unreal stuff. Talk about being on a heater as a GM.

If the Jets weren't the Jets, they would have McManus instead of us. Now look at them.😂

And the kicker they've got was one of the best in the league last year, he's been an AP...

Not exactly like a rookie, but...just Jets like stuff going on. If he was as good as he was last year, they're probably...5-3?

Rodgers has thrown 3 picks late in games they could have won.

I get why Saleh is without a job though! Definitely his fault...

While I'm sure most NFL kickers prefer it Anders Carlson seems to much prefer the long snapper for the 49ers that sends it right down the pipe every time unlike the shotgun approach our long snappers seemed to like to use the last few years

We'd be in a WHOLE lot of trouble without Willis. They don't get a 1st down on that pass to Reed(or a big play)...Jax probably wins.

We always seem to struggle with Jax on the road.

Willis is even more surprising to me than the whole Love thing. You' had 3 years with Love to get him ready. You had less than 2 weeks to get Willis ready and he looks like a really good NFL QB. Not sure how much of it is coaching him up vs how much is just game planning around his talent.

I'm about 90% sure neither is enough to beat Det next week though. Especially if Wlliams and company are out as well.
