So much stupid on this team.

They're the youngest team in the league. It shouldn't be a surprise.

Much worse.

It's blatantly obvious that we need a TRUE #1 WR in a major way. Go get Higgins Gute!

I feel like last year it was really easy to feel good about how everything ended and feel confident that we’d be back and better next year. I really don’t feel that after this season.

I think we got through this year relatively healthy compared to a lot of years.

We had some injuries but basically had the whole offensive line the whole season.

It’s hard to put a finger on why we didn’t really improve cumulatively in any meaningful way. Especially when Jacobs was exactly what we wanted and we got the improvement from the D that we wanted, but we still didn’t turn the corner at all.

Except he’s a #2 WR on the Bengals. Probably our best shot is a 30 something former all-pro.

You have got to hit that 4th down play on the numbers. Loves accuracy took a hit this year.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Because of Love's regression as a quarterback and MLF's regression as a coach.

He definitely needs to attend QB “summer school” this off-season.

The were 3-6 and 6-8 last year. They had a hot month, and the significance of it has been really overstated. They were more consistent this season. When they got bad, they didn't sink as low as they were last season. But they never hit the plateau they did last year. I don't think there was a point this season were they ever looked as good as they did in the playoffs last year.

There are a few reasons, I think Jaire is one. He basically didn't play this year and they are paying him to be the best or second best player on the defense. Another is there is  film on everyone now. Love, all the receivers who honestly are either average or still really young or both. There was no great season from anyone in the front 7.

Someone else alluded to the hot seat. I think MLF is on it if he puts together a season like this next year. If there isn't a title push by the 2026-27 season I think he is out.

Thus my second sentence.

Not sure I’d agree. This division was historically tough this year. And the 2023 team had its share of struggles against the cupcakes.

I think it has everything to do with the ending of each season. 2023 ended on a definite upswing with a lot of positivity. 2024 couldn’t have ended any worse with the offensive hitting rock bottom.

That's only because Chase is there too. Higgins is a #1 caliber WR.

I hate that statement. The Packers are the youngest. It's a feature, not a bug. Calipari used to complain about his young teams at Kentucky, when all he did was chase one-and-dones. Don't want to be the youngest team? There are ways to fix that.

Defense looks promising though. Excited to see what Hafley year 2 is like.

I don't care what the record says, you can't convince me they're better than last year.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

I agree that the “youngest team in the NFL” thing is way overplayed and old. Ok, well having the youngest team isn’t the goal, the goal is winning a Super Bowl.

It’s one thing to have the youngest team when you’re straight up rebuilding. If you’re in the playoffs, and losing games with slow starts and lack of leadership, I don’t think that’s a positive.

“Youngest team” means very little besides “prefers to build via the draft.”
