MLB.com reports.

It's not clear when Black might be ready to play in games. Black already seemed unlikely to win a spot on the Opening Day roster.

We've up to Game 3 of Spring Training, so I must now ask: Where's Tyler Black?

Same place Contreras and Yelich .  Playing golden Tee in the locker room.   Stop asking questions you do not want answers to.  Lol.      If he is not out there I think the rift between he and Murph has not gotten better this offseason.          We may never see Black .

Oliver Dunn however ... NICE! Craig Yoho(game #2)  VERY NICE!

If you want to say he is in amazing shape they should just come up with something more reasonable than this. 25 pounds of muscle growth in 4 months is legitimately impossible.

They also posted his weight taken at two venues.   So you can doubt it but they have receipts.   Pros get bigger faster.    That is life.

Patches O'Houlihan emerges.   What will stage 2 look like this Spring?  I have not seen any Patches moments out of Spring Training this season just yet.     That is something he should lean into even more than before and keep it going as long as he fits that persona.    It was proof this team had a lot of fun playing baseball from the start to the last pitch.        When  will he be throwing wrenches?  That is the real question.        I missed baseball.

You know this how? Just because Turang is the best second baseman doesn't mean second base is his best position.

Ummmm...he just won a Platinum Glove at 2nd. How can't 2nd be his best position?

Sounds like the defense didn’t help him much either

If that was the case, the runs he gave up wouldn't have been earned runs.

WE told you Oliver Dunn was a BEAST !   3 for 3 with a Tanker .    Dunn answers the questions in a way no other player stepping up could .  Dunn is a good player.

Sure he is. In AAA. Typical 4A player imo.

Chourio in CF for the first time with the MLB club. Love it as I think he’s more than capable and provides the team with more flexibility with Perkins out.

That isn’t always the case……there are plays that can be made by a good defender that are called hits.

From what I heard on the broadcast that happened twice in yesterday.

Perkins injury probably opens up the path to Chourio playing in CF against LHP with Margot in RF.
