Freddy Zamora pinch hit two RBI single increases the NASH lead to 6-2.

Garrett Stallings went four up four down (2 K) in relief of Woodruff while Jesus Liranzo faced the minimum in the 6th going BB - K - DP.

Easy to forget that Brock is still 22 years old. Him getting it back together would be huge.

Still early tiny sample time, he was down in the dregs with the rest of the Biloxi batters before his two HR outburst yesterday, but encouraging nonetheless.

Between the extenuating circumstances Brock faced last year, and the youth of guys like Lara, Pratt & Adams, I’m willing to give them some runway to get going.

Biloxi goes final losing 8-3. Josh Maciejewski had the lone zero in the pitching box going three scoreless (1 H).

Wisco scored three in the top of the 11th, but Aaron Rund couldn’t hold the lead as they fell 5-4.

Tough way to lose after Aquino’s high-wire act the previous three innings.

McGee put up a zero in the 8th (1 H | 2 K), but Blake Holub has made things interesting in the ninth going BB - K - 1B - BB to load the bases with one down.

Pulls it together with a strikeout and F9 to nail down the 6-2 NASH win.

Hello Ernesto

Anyone else see some Barry Bonds in that swing? He leans back more, but the violence of the swing and the follow through are pretty similar.

That would be an acceptable outcome for EMJ

I see some. Martinez is more violent and Barry's was smoother(though not Griffey type smooth).

I've never hoped Clancy was right more than when it comes to Martinez. If he can be our "Bellinger," type...accounting for the fact that you usually take about 25% less production when you use that type of comp, but say .240/.330/.480 with his size and speed. I'd take that!

Woodruff hit 95.1mph on his 59th pitch, striking out old friend Bryan Torres.

But now he’s conceded consecutive first pitch, weakly hit singles, followed by a sac fly, plating 2 earned runs.

It looks like he’ll exit at 66 pitches.

Weak hits are fine in AAA. Rebuilding that arm strength, that's everything.

95 is...good for me. The pitching we've got coming back...very encouraging.

Absolutely. Wow, It's a bit uncanny, at least here because I don't remember thinking this in spring training. Obviously we're not saying he's near that level but that extension and upward-tilted violence through the path were very reminiscent of Bonds
