I thought it was his hip or lower back but we will know by the end of the game.

I thought I read “cramped” when he was talking

That would be good if it was just a cramp.

The offense hasn't looked very good today. I know we have 3 runs, but all of them are due to a two-out error. Jake Irvin hasn't exactly looked unhittable either. Also, it's looking like the Cubs are going to win. 👎

The error extended the inning, but it wasn't like the runs scored on the error. It still required the team to string together some hits.

Hamstring discomfort for Frelick

Hopefully that's all it is, and he can rest up with the week off and be back post-All-Star break.

They were showing Weeks and Murphy counting with their fingers in the dugout.

My guess is that Frelick will be starting the second half on the IL with the hope that he will only miss the west coast series and be back for the next homestand.

Probably see Perkins in the lineup on Friday

Yeah, nice to have Perkins ready for this kind of thing. Hopefully Sal only needs a week or two.

A lot of 3 batter innings for the Brewers the last two days.

Three 3 run innings and not much else in the way of scoring chances except the 8th yesterday when Contreras rapped into the DP with two men on.

Today an inning setup by a walk, an error, and a swinging bunt that was also misplayed. No hits since then.

Hopefully the bullpen can get the 2 run lead to stand up. Might be seeing Wood if the Nats get the tying run to the plate.

Freddy is 11-4 (if this lead holds) with a 2.66 ERA going into the break. I know Miz is all the talk for good reason, but Peralta doesn’t really get enough love for a low key Cy Young candidate.

Nats pen is horrible. Must be their way to keep tanking with guys like Wood and Abrams.

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.
