I don't think our exit velocity is high enough today and Seattle committed an error, so they will say this is a cheap and lucky win.

Don't forget Raleigh sitting out. That had to be worth at least eight runs.

It's amazing that Yelich has a long on base streak going because he has looked awful the past couple of weeks.  Chasing badly and swinging over the top of a ton of pitches.  Hopefully he gets this out of his system quickly.

I want to throw some scraps toward Tyler Black. First off, he walks as a PH in the 1-0 game, a good call since Ortiz didn't look good at the plate, didn't finish off his ABs & if there was a walk to be had Black was much more likely to extract it. Today he pulls a double, then a hard-hit ball going the other way for a single. Also a scoop at 1B on a far-from-easy hop that I never expected him to come up with.

That’s what I’m guessing will happen the next couple of months

if this happens does he even travel  to AAA or does he just stay in Milwaukee until he gets called back up

I think he can just stay in MKE.  They can put him on the "Development List" at AAA.  Pirates did that with Skenes in 2023.

Priester has been pretty incredible for basically 2 and a half months now. Since his blowup against the Cubs on 5/2 he's gone 14 G, 78.1 IP, 2.52 ERA and all of the underlying ERA estimators like xERA, FIP, xFIP, SIERA are below 3.50. He looks like a really good SP.

Why are the brewers playing at 3 on Friday?

It's the celebration of 25 years at AmFam. Have you been hearing about the home run derby? That is after the game. There are autograph signings and other fan activities.

I didn’t hear anything about that.  Nice

Yep……longest on base streak in the majors but definitely struggling of late.

Things can turn quickly…….yesterday Turang had the golden sombrero……today…..our best offensive player.

Brewers just went 3-1 in the last 4 games without hitting a homer.

We have the best record in the majors when not homering……20-21.

... and where did Turang hit the ball?  Between left center and right center.  When the hitters drive the ball from alley to alley, they seem to do better.

Look at Chourio -- earlier in the game, he was pulling off the ball so bad that he didn't have any decent plate coverage on the fastball on the outside third of the plate.  When he finally decided to make good contact with the ball, he went with the pitch on the outside black and took it to right.

Crazy how that works 😉
